Gary Cooper & Sylvia Sidney Share An Incredible Moment

A beautiful Male/Female exchange from 'City Streets' (1931)

I came across this beautiful exchange between Gary Cooper and Sylvia Sydney on Instagram and HAD to share it.

This is the kind of true, pure male/female dynamics that I love and often talk about here at The Body House. Have a watch and see what you think. It's only 36 seconds long.

It's a clip from the movie City Streets (1931).

Gary Cooper developed the habit of paying for everything by check. This is according to James Garner's autobiography.

Cooper did this knowing that people would keep the check for his signature and never cash it.

This was also a trick also used by Pablo Picasso, who once said he had seldom paid for anything--from lunches to cars to houses--because of it.

Gary Cooper was married just once, to Sandra Shaw. They had one child together. They were married for nearly 30 years until his death.

Sylvia Sidney was born in The Bronx, New York City, on August 8, 1910 as Sophia Kosow to Jewish parents.

Her father was born in Russia and her mother was born in Romania. They divorced not long after her birth.

Her mother subsequently remarried and young Sophia was adopted by her stepfather, Sigmund Sidney.
